On October 13, 2012, our community will rally together to prepare over 100,000 meals to feed starving children! Schools, churches, and businesses are all working together to meet this goal. In just two hours, each volunteer will package over 300 meals. You've always said that you want to make a difference. Take this opportunity to do just that!

Do you have 1 hour a week to make a difference in the life of a child? Youth grades 2nd through 6th are matched will high school, college, or community volunteers. Volunteers meet 1 hour per week at the child's school. Volunteers serve as friends and mentors as well as strengthen developmental assets through activities and projects.
Contact schools, churches, and civic organizations to raise awareness of weServeSEO.org. Volunteers are often times seeking opportunities to serve and they need to know that this site exists. Groups can monitor the service hours of their members and individual volunteers can sign up as users, with or without being associated with specific groups.
This opportunity will be used anytime I want to record volunteer hours worked that are not specifically already listed as an opportunity.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 6:30-8:30pm at Rolling Plains United Methodist Church. We are looking for individuals that can serve in the childrens nursery to provide childcare, drivers to pick up some of the mothers and children, and experienced mothers (or grandmothers) that are willing to come and form relationships with young mothers. If you're able to fill any of these needs, please contact us!
Literacy & GED: Help tutor, coordinate tutoring times, manage lab, etc.
We have a website, however we need someone who would volunteer to keep it active up to date with our brochures, program applications, connections to other resources and overall clear crisp easy to use that will cause the entire family to see it as a source for their answers.
