The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with over 4.5 million youth members in its age-related divisions. Since its founding in 1910 as part of the international Scout Movement, more than 110 million Americans have been members of the BSA.

  • Periodically help fold, stuff and label mailings and the monthly newsletter.
  • Assist with projects at camp; painting, cleaning, mowing, maintenance.
  • Serve on event planning committees helping organize community resources to the benefit Scouting
  • Assist at the unit level as leaders or members of unit committees
  • Photographer - take photos at Scouting events to use in press releases and council materials.
  • Web site content: ensure web content is up to date, accurate and complete.
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Computer

There are numerous ways folks can help. I would be happy to discuss the possibilities with any folks who are interested in assisting on a regular basis, as needed or when they are available. Please contact me if you need more information.

Kids Against Hunger Packing Day

We have a website, however we need someone who would volunteer to keep it active up to date with our brochures, program applications, connections to other resources and overall clear crisp easy to use that will cause the entire family to see it as a source for their answers.

Delivering Mail

Assistance needed 1 or more days a week to sort and deliver mail to residents and office staff. This opportunity would need you to be available at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours each visit.

Driver

Our women need transportation occasionally. Drivers needed to get them to doctor's appointments, etc.

Tax Counselor

The Financial Stability Partnership’s Tax Coalition [See all]

Volunteer time at one of our free tax prep sites. We’ll make the appointments and tell clients what to bring with them. All you have to do is complete the training and sign up for at least two of the clinics!
