Our mission is to share God's love in a practical way by providing FREE donated furniture and housewares to help families in need to rebuild their homes We collect gently used donated furniture from people in the community and distribute it by appointment to families in need throughout Muskingum County and surrounding areas. Our Motto is "Turning Houses into Homes." Families need assistance as a result of: Unemployment Divorce / Death Physical or Mental Illness Domestic Violence Loss due to Fire or Flood In our 4 years of existence, we have collected over 4,000 pieces of furniture and assisted over 400 families in need.

Currently we are serving families in need through a referral system from local social service agencies and churches.

DONATIONS We accept gently-used Furniture donations. Our most critical needs: Beds Dressers Kitchen Tables/Chairs Sofas Chairs Lamps End Tables. Call for a FREE pickup! 740-452-9335 Ext #2 Leave a message and you will be contacted to arrange a time for pickup.

In addition to the need for additional volunteers, we also are in need of additional financial funding. Our two trucks that we use for both donation pick-ups and furniture deliveries are old with over 100,000 miles on each of them. Fuel costs and mechanical upkeep (brakes, tires, general maintenance, etc) take a huge bite out of our limited budget. Financial donations for the furniture bank can be mailed to Lifewell Furniture Bank, PO Box 8044, Zanesville, OH or delivered to 299 Putnam Ave in Zanesville. Charitable receipts are available.
