Youth Mentoring Organization
How would you like to feel like a star!? Being a Big Brother, Big Sister or Big Family is one of the most amazing experiences you will ever have! You have the opportunity to help shape a child's future for the better by empowering him or her to achieve. And the best part is, you will have a blast! You and your Little can share the kinds of activities you already like to do. Play sports together. Go on a hike. Read books. Eat a pizza with extra anchovies. Or just give some advice and inspiration. Whatever it is you enjoy, odds are you'll enjoy it even more with your Little--and you'll be making a life-changing impact. There are currently 56 boys and 30 girls in Muskingum, Guernsey and Morgan Counties waiting to be matched to a Big Brother, Big Sister or Big Family. Each child needs a caring adult friend willing to spend 2 days per month with them...someone who is willing to talk to them, listen to what they have to say, recognize the child's inner potential and nurture it. It's not about spending money. It's about building a friendship to last a lifetime!
Do you have 1 hour a week to make a difference in the life of a child? Youth grades 2nd through 6th are matched will high school, college, or community volunteers. Volunteers meet 1 hour per week at the child's school. Volunteers serve as friends and mentors as well as strengthen developmental assets through activities and projects.

The Franciscan Community Meals-on-Wheels Adopt-a-Route program is an easy and effective way for companies and organizations to get involved in their local communities! With as few as four people, a company or organization can Adopt-a-Route and deliver meals one day a week. Therefore, individual staff members would only deliver once a month, but the company or organization would help seniors, homebound and handicapped individuals every week.

Our "small people" need folks who want to entertain, teach, feed and play with them! Working in the Nursery allows you to not only minister to our children, but you're helping their parents have some time for great, uninterrupted worship. Our children are ages 0-3 and we are "open for business" during both the 8:30 and 11:00 worship hours. Won't you consider joining us?
