On October 13, 2012, our community will rally together to prepare over 100,000 meals to feed starving children! Schools, churches, and businesses are all working together to meet this goal. In just two hours, each volunteer will package over 300 meals. You've always said that you want to make a difference. Take this opportunity to do just that!

Check "Needs" messages and follow up on each call and discern which families have the greatest need to schedule on Family Saturdays.
This opportunity will be used anytime I want to record volunteer hours worked that are not specifically already listed as an opportunity.
We need healthy men who are will to serve as mentors. We are on the verge of unleashing a concept that will revolutionize how we serve fathers, but we need someone who can provide the leadership skills to rally troops of men toward this idea.
We need volunteers to help greet and hand out bulletins to the Rolling Plains congregation each week on a rotating basis during both the 8:30 and 11:00 service. We also need volunteers to be available after the service to welcome and hand out a small gift to 1st time attendees.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 6:30-8:30pm at Rolling Plains United Methodist Church. We are looking for individuals that can serve in the childrens nursery to provide childcare, drivers to pick up some of the mothers and children, and experienced mothers (or grandmothers) that are willing to come and form relationships with young mothers. If you're able to fill any of these needs, please contact us!
We are in need of volunteers to assist the teacher. Duties would include helping students with the mouse, type on the keyboard, etc. Very basic knowledge of the computer is required of the volunteers. Students ages range from 38 to 76.
